The Beach at the V House SOLD

I’ve always loved the beaches on Cape Cod - they can be wild and windy one day and calm and peaceful the next — and those dunes! This painting has a lot of movement and is inspired by the colors, shapes and views on one of those sunny, windy days. They have always been my favorite.

We were lucky enough to stay on a small island off the coast of Yarmouth, and the historic house we stayed in was called ‘The V House,’ because of its unique shape designed to take advantage of the stunning views.
