If you could smell this painting, you might get a hint of the delicate notes of May roses, or the heady scent of jasmine. I spent quite a bit of time visiting Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, and touring the ancient streets, shops and perfume houses. It’s amazing to think that so many of the flowers for the most exquisite perfumes come from here.
